主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目,中央高校基本科研业务费,国家重点实验室开放基金,福建省面上项目等多项,参与国家自然科学基金重点项目、青年项目等多项。

科研方向:

1)园艺作物遗传育种和应用

使用高通量多组学技术和分子生物学技术,解析花的起源、花器官形态建成、花香、花色、性别决定、开花时间、花的节律钟、抗逆性等的分子基础和进化特征;基于杂交育种、多倍体育种、分子育种等手段选育新品种;种质资源圃建设;园艺产品的开发和园林景观应用。

2)生物大数据研究

随着核酸测序、蛋白测序、代谢检测、表型检测等各种高通量技术的不断开发应用,海量的生物数据急需存储、可视化以及高效应用,基于此开发生物数据库,并研发各类组学相关工具,为进化生物学研究和园艺植物育种提供便利。
