国家高层次人才特殊支持计划(“万人计划”)科技创新领军人才(2022年)、2023年国际生态学“琵琶湖奖”、科技部国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家、国际湖泊环境委员会(ILEC)中方委员(唯一)、中国海洋湖沼学会理事、中国环境科学学会理事、Frontier in Marine Sciences、Wetlands、Water、Water Biology and Security、水生生物学报、湖泊科学等杂志编委。

曾先后主持国家级与省级项目二十余项,其中国家自然科学基金五项,国家水污染专项和科技部重点研发专项项目和课题等五项;参与国家级、省级、市级项目40余项。共发表论文146篇(SCI论文112篇,CSCD论文34篇)、出版专著2部和合著章节6部。获得2010,王宽诚教育基金会资源与生态环境人才专项;获得2013年水利部“大禹奖”二等奖;2012、2016,中国生态观测网络“十佳青年优秀学术论文奖”;获得2019年生态环境部“环境保护科学技术奖”二等奖。重点湖泊生态环境保护专题督导调研组专家;国家长江生态环境保护修复联合研究中心学术委员会生态环境保护修复专题技术组专家。

现阶段主持科技部蓝色粮仓科技创新项目“我国重要渔业水域食物网结构特征与生物资源补充机制(项目编号:2018YFD0900900)”;主持生态环境部水污染防治专项太湖流域水环境管理技术集成与业务化运行项目课题五中“太湖流域水污染源时空动态图谱与指纹数据库构建研究”。参与编制了《湖泊流域入湖河流河道生态修复技术指南》《湖泊生态环境保护实施方案编制指南》《湖泊生态安全调查与评估技术指南》《农田面源污染防治技术指南》《畜禽养殖业污染治理工程技术指南》《湖滨带生态修复工程技术指南》和《湖泊河流环保疏浚工程技术指南》系列指南,已由生态环境部办公厅发布实施(环办[2014]111号)。

曾主持和参与了《太湖流域水生态特征调查评估及流域生态修复方案研究》《拉萨河与纳木错河长制实施方案编制技术导则》《通顺河水污染防治规划方案研究》《武汉市湖库生态环境损失评估研究》《武汉主要湖泊水污染综合防治方案研究》《武汉市“两型社会”建设体制创新-梁子湖管理体系创新研究》《洞庭湖生态安全保障方案》《两库建设运行对下游(两湖及汉江)水生态系统影响》和《鄱阳湖生态安全保障方案》等工作,并在地方在供水安全、控源截污、水系整治、生态修复和综合治污平台建设等方面得到应用。
