Upon the arrival of winter holidays and Spring Festival, School of International Education held activities to interview and condole stayed international students at the No. 15 international students apartment building in the afternoon of February 1^st 2021. The activities were held on the purposes of creating warm and festive atmosphere, showing care and love from the school to stayed international students and letting them enjoy a happy, enriched, safe and peaceful Spring Festival. Secretary of the Party Branch of the School Shijia Hua, President Wei Zhou, Vice President Liang Liu and Hong Yang, teachers of the International Students Administration Office and other representatives of stayed international students participated in the activities.

  Mr. Shijia Hua and Mr. Wei Zhou sent their festival regards to stayed international students respectively. They expressed thankfulness for their cooperation and support to school’s pandemic prevention and control and hoped that international students can keep up the good work of pandemic prevention and control as usual. Meanwhile, the two officials also stressed the importance of paying attention to the safety of fire and electricity during winter holiday. Where after, school officials distributed easement to the stayed international students and carried out inspections and interviews at the dormitory. The Spring easement of this year not only includes snacks, milk sets, but also pandemic prevention packages which contain masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, etc. Stayed international students showed their appreciation to school’s love and care.

    During the winter holiday of this year, there are nearly 70 international students of our school stayed and spent their Spring Festival. The School of International Education developed a working proposal of this winter and next spring’s international students pandemic prevention and control, in accordance with the pandemic prevention and control deployment requirements of the university. To implement a working mechanism of “eyes on eyes” between counselors and supervisors, to establish a Wechat group of stayed international students and a platform for stayed teachers and students’ communication. Considering the coronavirus pandemic prevention and control, as well as the fire safety, the school carried out a series of activities to interview and condole international students inside and outside of school, and posted a kind reminder to international students reminding them of prevention and control of the pandemic, fire and electricity safety, personal property safety, also the hygiene of dormitory and personal health. Let us all wish for a warm and festive atmosphere to welcome the Chinese New Year and celebrate for a new decade.
